Using the DF40
The unit will only playback MP3 file music or DRM free music files Using the built-in storage
1) Load music on the DF40
A. Use the cable that came with the unit to connect the DF40 to your computer to copy music.
Make sure to copy music to the root folder only. Do not create any folders or subfolders.
2) Once music is loaded to the DF40, connect it to your cigarette lighter outlet.
3) Select the desired FM frequency on the DF40.
A. Press the -A or B+ or Ch- or Ch+ on your remote to set the desired FM frequency. Once you set the FM frequency, tune your radio to the same frequency (choose an FM frequency that is available in your area to avoid interference with your local FM stations).
Connecting an MP3 player via the earphone jack to play music
1) Directly connect any MP3 player to the Audio Input Jack ( cable sold separately).
2) Once connected, it will auto switch to the connected device.
Using an SD card (supports up to 8GB)
1) Load Music to your SD card
2) Insert it to the SD card slot on the DF40
3) Once inserted, it will playback the music from your SD card
Using a Portable Flash Drive (supports up to 8GB)
1) Load Music to your Portable flash drive
2) Insert it to the USB port on DF40
3) Once inserted it will playback your music from your Portable Flash Drive
DF40 will only work on one Function at a time
On the Remote
To set the Frequency using the remote
Press CH- or CH+
Once you settle for the particular frequency, Press CH SET once
To Adjust the Volume using remote
Press - or +
To Adjust Equalizer using the Remote
Press the EQ to change
To Play/Pause
Press the Play/Pause Button
To Skip or Forward
Press the Prev or Next
To jump directly to the song
Press the Number combination that correspond to that song Button 0 - 9 then press PICK SONG
